Changes in the requirements for using a home for tourist rentals

As of April 3, 2025, the express approval of three-fifths of the community's owners will be required to designate a home for tourist rentals.

Until now, this activity could only be prohibited if expressly stated in the bylaws. However, with the entry into force of Organic Law 1/2025, of January 2, communities will be able to agree in a general meeting to prohibit tourist rentals with the affirmative vote of at least three-fifths of the owners.
